Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect through link-building-agency.uk, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who is responsible for your data

This website is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME](“we”, “us”, or “our”), trading as Link Building Agency UK, part of INTSEO Media.

What personal data we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us. When you submit our contact form, we process your name, work email address, website URL, optional company name, your selection from the “what you are looking for” field, optional agency checkbox, and your message. A hidden honeypot field may be completed by bots; those submissions are discarded.

We do not run advertising pixels, analytics scripts, chat widgets, or social tracking tools on this website. Our hosting provider may process standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request timestamps, for security and reliability.

How we use your data and our legal basis

We use contact form data to respond to your enquiry, scope a potential engagement, and maintain a record of business correspondence. If you become a client, we may also use your details to communicate about the agreed work.

Under the UK GDPR, our legal bases are:

  • Legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries directed at us and operating this website securely.
  • Steps prior to entering a contract when you request information about our services.
  • Contract performance when you become a client and we need your contact details to deliver the work.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Formspree and other processors

Our contact form is processed by Formspree (formspree.io), which acts as a data processor on our behalf. When you submit the form, your data is transmitted to Formspree and forwarded to us by email. Formspree may store submissions on its systems according to its own retention practices. You can review Formspree's privacy documentation on their website.

Other processors involved in running this site may include:

  • Our website hosting provider, for serving pages and security logs.
  • Our email provider, for receiving and storing messages you send us.

If we work together on a campaign, you may choose to share access to Google Search Console, analytics tools, or target URL lists. We use that information only to deliver and report on the agreed link building work. Access should be least privilege and can be revoked when the engagement ends.

International transfers

Formspree and some hosting or email providers may process data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms provided by those vendors.

How long we keep your data

We retain enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and maintain a reasonable record of the conversation. If you do not become a client, we delete or archive enquiry records according to our internal retention schedule, typically within twenty four months of the last meaningful contact unless a longer period is required for legal or regulatory reasons.

If you become a client, we retain relevant records for the duration of the engagement and for a period afterward as required by contract, tax, or other legal obligations. Server logs are retained only as long as our host keeps them for security and operations.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure in certain circumstances.
  • Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Request a portable copy of data you provided to us.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@link-building-agency.uk. We will respond within one month, or inform you if we need longer for complex requests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the United Kingdom if you believe we have handled your data improperly.

Cookies

This site does not set non-essential cookies for analytics or advertising. For details, see our Cookie Policy.

Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children under sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age.
